Welcome to our server!

Hi!
Our group uses supercomputers to study black holes, gravitational waves, and other phenomena predicted by Einstein's Theory of General Relativity. The work here is the result of a close collaboration between the NCSA/University of Illinois Relativity Group, led by Ed Seidel, and the Washington University Numerical Relativity Group, led by Wai-Mo Suen. Our WWW server is an integral part of our research effort. Here you can find information on group projects, members, publications, and much much more. Enjoy!

Step right up

For the more adventurous web-surfer, we recommend you start your exploration at our home page. You can jump right in by following links directly to your area of interest.

Get some directions

We have broken our server into 11 basic areas, each of which is represented by an icon on the main home page. You are already exploring one of them. The other 10 areas are:

    Papers
A repository of group publications available online

    Movies
Quicktime and MPEG movies of our simulations

    Codes
Distribution point for our codes (both numerical and utility codes)

    Grand Challenge
An NSF funded 8-university collaboration on Numerical Relativity

    Toolchest
A repository of tricks and links for group use
